Combustion Process
The air within the cylinder is pressurized higher as the piston rises and flows into the swirl chamber (hot plug).
Fuel is injected there from the injection nozzle, mixed with air, and initial ignition takes place.
The more highly compressed air caused by the initial ignition spreads into the main combustion chamber through the connecting orifice promotes combustion further. Thus the piston is depressed.
